Wiking 1/40 VW Auto Museum, VW 1600 Variant yellow Deutsche Bundepost This four inch long colored plastic factory assembled model car is made by the German Wiking Co. It's a mint in the box Volkswagen Variant Type 3 station wagon also known as a Square back done in O Gauge scale. The highly detailed body lifts off to reveal its interior door panels, seats, steering wheel, spare tire and engine. Printed on the box is 764 02 40 Deutsche Bundespost VW 1600 Variant 1:40 (Deutsche Bundespost is German for The Federal Post Office). This model has only been out of the box for this photo. It would make a fine addition to any model Rail Road layout, Toy, or Model Collection.
